There are many types of blower exist to serve different types of functions used in various applications. Each blower type has sub-categories such as a handheld, corded and cordless, electric-powered, backpack, stainless blowers (also known as “เครื่องเป่าสแตนเลส” in the Thai language), etc.
Some of them may be specifically manufactured for home maintenance, their units are aimed at commercial users. These days, blowers are used to ventilate mines, charge internal engines, and many other tasks.
Let’s have a look at different categories of blowers:-
Positive Displacement Blowers – These are also known as Rotary Lobe blowers. These blowers keep a regular flow and speed regardless of changes in pressure. These can be used to move both air and neutral gases.

Centrifugal Blowers – These blowers are the most common types of blowers that are used in mechanical ventilation. These are also used to control air pollution, creating pressure, calculate air, and transport gas.
High-Speed Blowers – These blowers are used when you need significantly high pressure and flow. A motor is used to run this blower.
Helical Screw Blowers – These blowers typically produce air at a higher pressure than positive displacement blowers and also perform more quietly than other blowers.
Regenerative Blowers – These are widely used when you need to move large air volumes at low pressure. These are easy to use and maintain.
Blowers are widely used for combustion, transportation, aeration, and many other functions. Keep in mind the above categories and choose the perfect blower for your needs.
